Planting And Care
- Avoid too much acidic soil
- Mulch with compost, finely ground leaves, weed-free hay, straw, pine needles, or finely ground bark to keep the soil cool and moist and to keep down weeds
- Look for insects like aphids or larvae, and apply with organic insecticide

- If you are starting them inside, then do so 5 to 7 weeks before the last expected frost
- If you are direct sowing the seeds outside, do so 2 to 4 weeks before the last frost and/or anytime at least 10 weeks before the first frost of the next season
- Space them 18 to 24 inches apart (for the transplanted plantlets)
- Set plants at the depth of half an inch or 1 inch
- They sprout best when the soil temperature is around 70 degrees

Care Product Info
Potting: Plant do not need any special type of potting soil. Being tropical natives, they do well in any well-drained potting soil, rich with organic material. Use a mix of coco-peat, compost, sand in 20:60:20 ratio.
Watering: Overwatering is the chief cause of disease or loss of plant life. Do ensure that you don't overwater them. To get plants to show off their richly coloured leaves, it is best to wipe them clean with moist tissue or cloth once every month. In drier months, misting them a few times a week could help improve humidity around the plant, helping them flourish.
Fertilising: Feeding your Plant a few times a year is a good way to get them to stay healthy. Give them some organic liquid fertiliser once or twice a year. Dilute it in water as described on the pack and add a little to each pot as part of your watering routine. If you are using a chemical fertiliser do ensure that you keep it away from the plant and its base.
Light:As a tropical plant that grows in the humid bright shade of tropical forests, this plant prefers similar conditions when grown as a houseplant.It dislikes full sunlight, preferring bright, indirect sun, such as that offered by north-facing windows. It will also thrive under fluorescent lights.

Wow,its very beautiful plant. Recieved healthy plant with trichoderma and epsom salt. Packing of plant is also good. Really, after recieved this plant my family became very happy. Their red color of leaf make plant very attractive. Also pot have some hole, so extra water also leached out by them. Once again, its amazing plant.
I was a little sceptical at first buying a plant online. I saw lot of reviews that said their product had suffered shipping damage and that a lot of the soil had fallen off. Also that the plant didn't look fresh.Fortunately I didn't have any such issues. My plant was in a very good condition, except for 1 broken leaf and a little bit of spilt soil but that's to be expected. It looked really fresh considering it had spent 2 days in transit. After a bit of watering and keeping the plant out in the sunlight for some hours, it's looking great now, ready to brighten up any space. How long the plant survives remains to be seen though.A really great product that I would recommend for anyone.
